Update...

Logan is enjoying kindergarten. I do have to say, he is my child that would rather be home than any where else. So there are some days he enjoys school and other days he does not. Before he tracked off, Logan got an award from school. They have what is called the "Coyote Call Assembly". They have 3 awards to give out and so each class will have 3 kids who get the awards. Logan was one of them. He got the "Exceptional Effort" award. The teacher said she could see he was trying hard to learn things. We are so proud of him and so glad he has it in him to "try harder".

Parker is now 20lbs so we moved him to a regular carseat. You can tell from this picture that he is so happy about his new seat.

Kylie did a dance class over the summer and she loved it. She did so good. Of course the day the parents could come and watch, we forgot the camera, so all we have is the pictures from our phone. Kylie is in the pink.

Parker....

We did not do much for Parker's birthday this year-in fact we really did nothing. I made a birthday cake for him and that was about it. Jana and her boys had spent the day with us, so they stayed the evening too for cake. **********************Parker is constantly trying to stand. He will be in the middle of a room and stand up. I know I say this all the time, but they grow up so fast.

Logan's T-ball banquet

Logan had his T-ball banquet this week. He loved playing T-ball. Hopefully he will want to keep with it. He was awarded a trophy-which he was so excited to get....
Logan and coach Stephan at the banquet. He really enjoyed having Stephan coach the team!

Logan starts Kindergarten!!

This week has been a bit busy. Logan started kindergarten on Tuesday. He sure loves it. It was a bit hard, but not as hard as I thought it would be to send him off to school. He was so excited and happy-that made me happy for him. He has 3 kids in his class that he knows from church, so that is nice!

One nice evening this week, we had nothing to do and Kylie decided we needed something to do. So....she jumped off the couch and landed pretty hard on a toy and cut her lip. Not sure if the toy cut her lip or if she bit into her lip. I am not one to go to the Dr. for every little thing, but the cut was so deep, I was a bit worried. Called the Dr and he said to bring her in for stitches as the lip is a hard place to heal correctly. Knowing Kylie's personality, I could see her 12 years from now wondering why we just didn't have her lips fixed so she would have nice plumpy lips. Jon was sweet to take Kylie to the ER. They were only there for 5 hours. Not bad huh? Yeah actually I felt bad for him. He does so much better with blood and that kind of stuff. He is so calm.
Jon said the nurses were so impressed with how calm Kylie was. They asked if all our children were like her-if only they knew she was not our calm one!

Anyways, it has been 4 days since it happened and it looks so good. She only got 2 stitches but I am glad they did it. Didn't get a picture when she first hurt it, but did get one after the stitches and the picture is not that great either.

Then that leaves us with Parker. He is getting more of a personality and wants what he wants. Still so sweet though. He started getting his first tooth this week too.

Garden....

This year we decided to do a garden. I am so glad we did. There is something so fulfilling about putting a seed in the ground and seeing something grow from that seed. It is not as hard as I thought it would be, so I think we will do one again next year too. It is not huge but it will do for this year. We planted snap beans, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, and watermelon. Here are some pics.....The above is what the garden looked like when we planted it in May

One morning we woke up and saw a rabbit eating our garden, so Jonathan made this wonderful fence to go around the garden. The above 2 pictures are taken in July.
