He's heeere....

Finally Parker Leo Luck came into this world on July 29, 2008 at 2:58 pm. It was a long day. We went in at ten and we were supposed to have the c-section at noon, but ended up there were 3 other emergency c-sections, so we kept getting bumped back. So finally they got me prepped and took me back to the operating room. Everyone was so great. Little Parker came out at 2:58pm. He cried so much at first-it kinda scared me because Kylie was a crier so I thought he might be too. He has been a good baby so far though. He was 7lbs 4 oz-which is our biggest baby so far. I have to say this was the best c-section so far. I had fewer side affects and have felt really well. 3 Generations-Jon, Jon's mom (Mona), my mom(Debie), me and Parker

3 Days to go and counting....

Well still no baby yet. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow. Tuesday I have the c-section-unless the little man decides to come earlier. Logan is so excited about the little baby. I think he and Kylie will be so good with the baby. I am sure Kylie will have her jealous times too. We are just ready for him to be here and get the show on the road.

Life has been a bit tough right now, and I have to say, it is such a blessing to have Logan and Kylie in our family with their sweet spirits. They are always so happy-well for the most part-and Jon and I can't help from catching on to their happiness. It sure has helped us be happy and keep our chins up as well. We do have so much to be grateful for: our home, family, good health, and friends.

Here are a few pics of my men taking good care of me. My toes have not been painted in awhile and I asked Jon if he would paint them for me. So he agreed. I wasn't watching at first and then realized Jon let Logan have a try at my toes.

Still no baby yet...

Well I am going on 38 weeks now. It's not that bad that I haven't had the baby yet, but I am just used to being early so I guess I just expect this little guy to come any time now. But, he hasn't so we have been able to do a few things because of it. Yesterday, Jon and I went on a date, went swimming and then today we went to Jon's brother's house and let the kids play on their slip 'n slide and blow up slide. The kids had a ton of fun. Date night...

Well Jon and I actually got out for a date tonight which was so nice-thanks to my sweet mother who offered to watch the kids. We went and saw "The Dark Knight". I thought it was really good and really entertaining, although it was almost 3 hours-so I did think it was a bit long. I won't say much more so since people might go see it still.

We went swimming today at my brother's pool. That was a lot of fun. Although the water was cold. Poor Kylie has no fat on her body so she gets cold so easily.

Not much to write about....

Well, of late, I have not had that much to write about. We are pluggin along. No baby still. I am at 37 weeks now and that is when my water broke when I had Logan. My water broke at 38 weeks with Kylie, so we'll see what this little guy does. Life has slowed down a bit so that is nice since I feel like I am slowing down too.

We did take Logan and Kylie out on Logan's Christmas present-for the first time. Jon brought the 4 wheeler out to the back yard and Logan just drove around on it for hours. He loved it! He did pretty good driving too. Here are just a few pics:

Just wanted to add this one in of Kylie. This is an outfit she got from her Great Grandma for her Birthday. I am posting it mostly so they can see the picture of her in it.

Overwhelmed....

One of my friends, Kim, threw me a baby shower tonight. I must say I did not feel like I needed one but she insisted that she do one for me. So we decided to make it low key and go to an icecream shop, and just hang out. I must say I do not like attention to be on me at all, but I did feel so overwhelmed and so loved tonight. It just meant the world to me that people would come and support me. Thank you so much for making me feel loved!

35 Weeks and Counting....

I was just looking at old pics of our kids and was comparing how different they looked when they were 9 months old. I thought I would post a few pics of them when they were younger. It makes me wonder how this new little guy will look-if he will be small like Kylie or big like Logan.

Logan at 9 months old. Look at the rolls on that kid. This was Logan's prime. I think he was the biggest at 9 months then started to grow into his weight after that.
Kylie at 9 months old. She is so little and petite....

So I am now 35 weeks. I cannot believe it. Time has gone by so fast. I went to the Dr. this week and asked if she had any feelings on us going out of town this weekend for the 4th. We were either gonna go to my parents cabin or camping with friends, the Cherry's. But the Dr. said since I tend to have my babies early (2-3 weeks early) that she would feel better if I stayed around town this weekend. So we will do just that. Not sure what we will do, but I am sure we will figure something out.
